FAQ

We need to know if you would like a standard seat or a soft close seat – It will help if can tell us the brand and model or you can email us a picture along with the dimensions we need below:

When considering a common application such as boosting the performance of a shower, the pump will need to be able to switch itself on automatically when the shower is switched on.

A key decision in this respect is whether a ‘Standard’ or ‘Universal’ pump type should be used.

Generally, when a tap drips or lets by, this would usually indicate a blockage between the ceramic discs of the internal cartridge. By performing regular maintenance on your cartridge, this can easily resolve this issue. Details on how to remove the cartridge can be found within the installation / maintenance instructions of your product. Once removed, soak in a descaling solution (or a 50 / 50 mix of warm water and vinegar) for approximately 2 hours, flush under cold running water and replace. Regular maintenance is particularly important if you live in a hard-water area. If this does not work the cartidge will need replacing.

Due to the majority of the UK being built upon chalk, unfortunately Limescale is a common issue. When Limescale builds up around the nozzles of a shower-head, this can create blockages / mis-direction of water flow. To remove the limescale, and restore your showerhead to full functionality once more, we have limescale removers in stock, and gently clean the limescale from the nozzles of the showerhead. Once removed, clean all over with warm soapy water with a soft cloth.

If you don’t have a water softner installed, we Highly recommend you do as this will come with many benifits such as “softer water”
