These cylinder jackets are meticulously crafted from 60mm thick fibre glass materials, designed to conform to the rigorous standards set by the British Standards (BSS). Offering up to a 60% reduction in heat loss when installed correctly, these jackets are an ideal solution for insulating hot water cylinders of all types, ensuring energy efficiency and cost savings. The cylinder jackets are kitemarked and manufactured in the United Kingdom in accordance with British Standard Number BS 5615: 2007, which guarantees their quality and reliability. The infill consists of 60mm nominal thickness glass fibre, which is non-combustible and conforms to BS 5803: Part 1: 1985, providing superior insulation. The outer cover is made from a 70-micron flame retardant material, adding an extra layer of safety. For ease of application, each jacket features a multi-panel (4) design, making it simple to fit onto all types of cylindrical hot water storage tanks. The jacket comes complete with one top tie cord, heavy-duty fixing tape, and detailed fitting instructions, ensuring a secure and hassle-free installation. The tensile strength of the fixings is not less than 40N, ensuring durability and a long-lasting fit. Available in both British Standard (BS 5615: 2007) and Trade Standard grades, these jackets are tested and approved by the British Standards Institute (BSI Testing Hemel Hempstead) under Licence No: KM36881. Custom sizes are also available upon request, making this the perfect solution for any hot water cylinder insulation needs.
